Hi, I’m Alex!

I’m a lifelong artist and animal lover with a deep passion for jewelry and horses. Originally from NYC, I now call southern Florida home, where I share life with my horse Socksy, a pack of beloved pets, and a studio full of creativity. Jewelry has been a part of my life since childhood. Starting with beading and wire work, and later growing into metalsmithing and formal training at the Fashion Institute of Technology. The turning point came in 2007, when my horse Hennessey needed surgery and I turned my hobby into a business to help him heal. That journey became The Beaded Pony: a celebration of handcrafted, one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by horses, nature, and the stories that connect us. Each piece blends traditional techniques with rustic charm, using materials like sterling silver, copper, gold, gemstones, and artisan beads.
